Centre Disc Type Butterfly Valve has shaft that provides dependability and positive disc positioning and has attachment for handles or actuator. The Valve has top plate with single piece of body for all types accommodates such as handle, gear operators, pneumatic actuator and electric actuator. The Valve has bush that furnishes shaft support for positive shaft alignment and actuators that absorb side thrust load. The Valve has o-ring and secondary shaft seal is self adjusting type in nature. The Valve is designed with tapper pins with seals and retainer nuts for easy and quick disassembly and has the feature of concentric seating for low torque and long seat life that provides bubble tight shut-off and is easily field replaceable. The Centre Disc Type Butterfly Valve has design that allows all valves to be suitable for installation with slip-on weld neck flanges.
